In March of 2016, we embarked on a journey to drive around the whole of Australia.
The purpose was to raise awareness and education around the impact of the amendment that had been made to Section 501 (Character test) of the Migration Act 1958 (Cth) since December 2014.
Our Hikoi (Maori word for ‘journey’) was in response to the desperate need to forewarn families and individuals that this law change had dire consequences to many Australian families and their children.
